How do you safely remove the side markers without breaking any tabs?
sorry for the newb ? i just dont want to break them

On my 2004 the plastic was so brittle that it cracked when i clicked it back in and then it fell out and was held by the bulb.

Probably because my car spent 4 years of its life in Arizona heat, I don't know. But there is a good chance they will snap even if you are careful.

I slid a credit card on the end of it and it came out really easy without damaging anything.

I've switched mine out multiple times and never had any problems, you'll be able to feel it loosen when u slide it back

remove two of the push pins in the inner fender liner and you can reach in behind the side marker and depress the release

I broke one of mine when removing. I didn't push very hard but the plastic was brittle. So be gentle!
