Default Installed Modifry's Convertible Top Strap Replacements

I know this might be an old topic to post, but I was in the beginning I didn't think it would make any difference. I mean once I post my pics of my old straps. I know most would immediately say..GET THAT FIXED!! Lol so I ordered them from modifry.com and just got them in today. Wasn't hard to install. But wow! I now can see the second set of anchors for my tonaeu cover boot! When I got the car and the guy gave me the boot too said he could never get those anchors behind the roll bar to lock in the cover. And the whole doing research I just didn't believe this mod would seat the top down that much. But it did! so I am a happy camper today! Thanks Modifry!

Before I would have to pull back the top just to find the anchors.

I know my top is not In the best of conditions by the way.

Before install, you can tell there's an overlapping of the top that almost comes up to my wind deflector.

After install. It looks so much better. Almost flush with the trunk. me likes!

Even if the straps are worn, all you have to do is make sure you push that bar back while the top is going down(that's all the straps do anyways).

When my car was at 15k miles, I had to replace the straps. Used the Modifry ones. But after a year, they wore out just like the oem ones did. Also, if the straps aren't doing their job and/or you're not pushing the bar back, there's the possibility the latches with wear holes in the front of the top.
