Default Installed Q300 on 04

well, its dark out. so no pics right now. but i bought the Q300, with the titanium tips, supposedly that has the fix for it to be straight. well, the left muffler sits to the left, and sticks out 1 finger past the bumper. the right muffler is center, and sticks out 2 fingers. i see where everything is adjustable on the back and tinkered with them but could not get better results. I made sure the pipes were fully seated as intended.

Anyone else have poor fitment? Doesnt seem like bending a hangar will even fix this...

yes mine fit the same way. My left tip stuck out a little and my right one pointed to the right. I had my oem tips welded on and while my car was in the shop the guy adjusted it and now it sits perfectly.

I have the non Ti version and it fits fine. I made a few changes though such as the rubber hangers since the factory one was too long, switch to a shorter rubber hangers and like myslow1, I also change my tips to OE AP2 but only welded a pipe therefore I can change tips from AP2 to AP1 if I decide to sell it in the future.

I just got mine on a couple of weeks ago and the fitment wasnt too good either. I had to hack off 1 inch from the y pipe bc the muffler was rubbing against my bumper. The right tip sticks out farther so I still need to adjust it. I got the ti version.

Mine fits fine. I'll look more carefully later though to make sure.

doesn't sound like anything a little persuasion with your foot can't fix. That's how I evened out the old Borla on my VR4.

man the more i look at it the more it annoys me. People who say theirs fit just fine...take a better look. I'm going to take some pics today and post them up. I feel people should know that a product doesnt fit right. Curious to see the different problems of different installs

I looked the other day and one of my tips does stick out about an inch further than the other. It doesn't really bother me though, so I probably won't take the time to try to fix it.

FWIW, both the Toda and Mugen catbacks stick out more on the left than on the right by about .5" to .75" when cold. By not using the front rubber hanger on the right muffler I got it almost even (<.5" difference).
