I must mention that there's a few of us here that installed the anti-nonfouler and still get a CEL, had 2 on there and still threw a CEL. Took the whole thing off and capped it, installed a Comptech O2 eliminator and been great ever since!

You will be needing something like this. You screw it on where the O2 sensor is on, and install the sensor on this extender.
I have not bought the item, as a local shop said, they can just weld together several sensor bungs to get a similar length.
I will be doing mine soon. I still have the CEL on with mine as I already removed the cat.

Does the 02 sensor detect gas only or does it also detect heat?
If it's just exhaust gas, why wouldn't a small piece of steel wool shoved midway down the bung work or possibly work?
I'm not suggesting anyone do this unless it has already been done and (of course) had success.
Personally I'd do the anti-fouler solution since it is a more elegant possible fix but if I still got a CEL I would be tempted to try the steel wool.
