I'd like to see some temp info on this issue as well. My gut feeling is that a thin piece of metal which is a heatshield on any header won't make a big difference in terms of underhood temps. I run a Mugen header and I choose to keep the heatshield off for cosmetic reasons. I don't think underhood temps are any different when the car is moving, air over the header would escape out the vehicle quite easily , it might have an effect at idle though, but I'd love to see some more information. I should get myself a reader

Does anyone have a link to a thread on how a vented OEM hood affects IAT's? Preferably with charts. I have a PRM intake too and was just wondering if the air coming in through the hood could really even reach the opening of the intake or not. Either way I know that it will release some of the heat in the engine bay which is a really good thing

This headlight mod is good if you dont need hi beams
