^PRM is awesome! Just got mine and it sounds incredible. Was going to go CAI but decided I didn't think the 2-3 hp was worth the small possibility of hydrolock. I have also had a FIPK and it is a great intake as well. I just basically got mine for the sound because you won't gain much power from an intake, and PRM is the best sound in my opinion. Gives the car an amazing grunt!

 

hey stretch...it was dyno day and there where a ton of people that got there cars down as well. i couple of my friend but down indentical number from that dynopack to another. ive only been on 1 dyno with this car. but my friend integra but down 242whp on 3 different dynpacks...trust i thought of that too. the guy who dynoed my car ;his jaw dropped when he saw what i put down...he was like wtf and in shock lol. he keep asking me about my mods list cause those numbers are very high. hes had 5 other ap1s with simliar mods they could not produce over 225whp with full boltons and tune. im just as stumped as you are. lol my plans are FI but i almost want to see what i can put down all motor.

 

also stretch..do u have a dual or single catback??

 

Those numbers seem pretty high, although dynopacks aren't as inflated as dynojets. I'd be curious what you read on a mustang dyno

 

Interesting, never considered that. I wonder if I did do the snorkel thing, if then instead fabbed up a wall for the left side, if that would increase or decrease temps. I would assume if it's taking in from the snorkel then there would be no need to drag air from the side, which would reduce hot air. I'd assume the snorkel would provide enough airflow for what it's sucking in ... hmmm

 

love my prm, oem exhaust but my car is loud at vtec 'cause of that intake...

 

Its a dual exit, I got it made to look as OEM as possible, just to keep people guessing I'm lookin to go FI soon, been lookin at the comptech 8psi kit, meant to give around 310 whp but very reliable at the same time.

I use run the AEM V2 CAI and now I'm running the CT intake. I personally love the performance and sound of the AEM, but I wasn't really to crazy how it looked when I pop the hood. The CT intake feels quicker midrange though.

 

PRM ....is one of the best sounding out there , and adds some good response and a bit of power ...but when you hit vtec with PRM if you have a passanger they may ...it sounds that good !!!
