Nah man I have the HKS Hi-Power Dual exhaust right now. My stock one is sitting outside. Its funny people say the PRM is the best sounding intake, and the HKS dual is the best sounding exhaust, but supposedly people think both of these loose power when its just a myth. The butt dyno likes both of these mods, so I dont care. I daily mine and I never really race, so even if it made no difference over stock i'm still happy since it sounds awesome.

Yeah I made another thread asking if anyone extended this intake to reduce heatsoak, but idk. I'll probably go ahead and try it for kicks and giggles and see if it makes any difference. The little horn on the end of it is held on by a clamp just like a pipe would, so i'm gonna get a 45 degree aluminum pipe that fits perfectly in there and clamps down, and it will run by the radiator just like my old RM racing intake.

Haha yeah I got it like 3 months ago for only $400 shipped.

I'm going to measure some today and order a polished aluminum pipe to try extending the intake more towards the opening between the radiator. My old RM intake squeezed a 3" duct through that opening with the OEM radiator guide in place. Its even more open with my carbon cooling panel, so it should get quite a bit of cooler air going to it. I'll be sure to get some pics when I do this.

Here are a few pics. This is still a work in progress, so it doesnt look that great right now. I'm still getting a different cooling panel, different crossmember cover, and thinking of painting a few parts a black pearl.

niiiice...I'm also thinking of either getting the PWJDM cooling plate w/cut-out and selling the one I have w/out the cut-out (or cutting a hole in my current kevlar plate)

as far as a crossmember cover I'm not sure what to get...the polished one on ebay looks pretty good especially for the price

I take it back max, if you can paint the chrome intake pipe black or a carbon weave i know theres a DIY out there, i mean idk how you feel about that, but painting is painting...but with the horn chrome and the rest carbon would look great...and do something about the OEM heatshield...

Although it sucks, because its so expensive, but the Moddiction overflow/catch can will help with cleaning it up to lol

Haha I just bought one of those. I might end up painting it if I re-do my valve cover and stuff. The crossmember in that pic I actually made in like 30 min, and I kinda messed up on it. So since I might keep that one polished, I just bought that one on ebay.

I just sent you a PM man. Actually I wanted to keep the polished pipe and polished horn, I just wanted to do the black part of the intake in a black pearl, along with the valve cover and stuff. If I did this, I would have to debate to paint the crossmember cover the same color, or keep it polished to match the intake pipe. My old RM racing intake looked pretty good actually with the aluminum crossmember cover, so I might actually keep the mirror polished crossmember cover when I get it.

Yeah here soon i'll probably get just the coolant overflow tank from Moddiction. I dont really need a oil catch can, and since just the overflow tank is cheaper thats what I would do.
