I had the RM Racing intake, many different set-ups with the OEM airbox, the K&N FIPK 2, and now the PRM, and i'm also happy with it. I don't feel any difference whatsoever between this and the FIPK, so that makes me a happy camper.
I've had FIPK, PWJDM, and now the PRM.
PRM is by far the best sound, and my butt dyno is happy too.
I made a bracket so the narrow portion of the stack has some support.
Great looking, working, and sounding intake.
would you make me that whole bracket setup and sell it to us PRM owners?? I'd be very interested to buy it as all I had in mind was some safety wire to the hood prop bracket...this looks much more thought out
^ That looks great. I just bought some pearl black paint, and i'm going to do my valve cover, fuel rail cover, and the black part of my intake. I'm going to try and get a few parts polished so it goes along with my intake piping and polished crossmember cover i'm getting.
I really love the bracket he made...it looks like an OEM fit type of bracket...I'd be in to buy one off him instead of going out and fabing again...I'm tired of fabing lol
I've had a PRM for about 7 years and I love it. The sound is amazing. No idea about power gains other than the dyno from PRM. Love the fact that it weighs about 4 lbs vs the heavy stock airbox. Oh, and it looks cool!
actually spoke to greg earlier today and he recommended not to use any kind of bracket and let it move w/the motor...he said that a bracket would put stress on the housing which would crack over time..so I'm gonna go w/out one...it's can't move that much
