Even thought that part is a sort of plastic, it seems well built. I could use it to smack the hell out of something and it will stay in one piece haha. The one and only complaint I have with it, is how it sits. It pretty much just hooks to the throttle body, and the end of the horn lays on that A/C line. I wrapped my line right there with electrical tape, and put a little peice of 3M double stick tape on the bottom of the horn since its thick. That way it wont wear into the line. I wish it had some kind of brackets to actually mount it.

By the look of the intake, I do not see how it pulls in cold air. It seems like it would pull in all the hot air under the hood now that the cone end is opened under the hood and not located outside of the engine bay. Just my perception, I have never seen this intake before

Yes it is in the engine bay and will suck up some of the hot air, and that is why I was thinking about taking the horn off, and putting an extra pipe going by the radiator. This intake does get some cool air when moving, but not sitting still.

Here you can see where most of the air comes from, you actually might be surprised how much air gets pushed through there when moving:

Block some of that heat soak! Take some measurements

This car belongs to S4play and what he did is used the Comptech Icebox Cover although he's not running that intake.

I've had FIPK, PWJDM, and now the PRM.
PRM is by far the best sound, and my butt dyno is happy too.
I made a bracket so the narrow portion of the stack has some support.
Great looking, working, and sounding intake.
