He also says that he bought a new OEM filter and a new K&N filter, right after stating that he hadnt changed the original filter. So, the test would have been legit.

just curious, how long do you have to let it sit before putting oil on after washing?

ahh! i have for 4 times. i know it says completely dry!! i have let it sit for 18 hours. is that completely dry? i can still feel a little moister on the inside, not wet-wet but if you had very dry skin and touched it you could feel it.

it is an oil that it's covered with. 18 hours later it should be dry.

don't spray the inside...just the outside. it'll soak through to the inside.

too late for that. man what a noob move i've made. well is there a way to soak the oil back out. on the K&N website it says to start over, but i really dont feel like going trough all of that. im wrapping it in paper towels and stuffing it with paper towels as well inside a plastic bag.
