Default K&N bogging out of first?

Has anyone who has the FIPK kit experienced this at all? At a creep in 1st and then full throttle, its hesitant or bogs for a quck second then takes off.....is this normal?? Its only when im driving pretty slow.....like crawling or turning corners and then hammer it. its like it takes a second for it to suck in some air.

Thats cause you have no power at 1500k rpm. If you floor it that low in the powerband its going to hesitate/bog. Buy a V8.

I've actually noticed the K&N bogs less than the stock intake.

For some reason, I noticed this as well. Not sure if it's due to the intake, but I bog much less now. Much of the infamous "AP2 low rpm bogging/hesitation" is gone now.

Heatsoak. To resolve this situation, blip the throttle right before you take off to get the hot air thats been sitting in the intake.

I don't think its the intake thats why you are feeling the bogging. Its because you are in low rpm when start out in first gear. I thought of the same thing but its because you have no power at that low rpm.

Mess around with your Rpm when you luanch your car in first and you will see and learn to not bog the car.

I start out in the lowest of rpm like 1100 rpm and smoothly climb the rpm i don't feel any bogging at all.

So just mess around with your rpm man.

When i first bought the s2k i launch it and was like wtf how come it boggs like its trying to suck in air then it unleashed after that. Well i dont feel that bog anymore after i learn how to use my rpm.
