Kia sportage final drive works $267

so with the kia gears in cruising down the highway your rpms will be a bit higher? how much wear and tear will this put on the engine?

So after ordering a 4.77 kia gear, what else would be needed to get it going(except a diff mechanic to install it)?

oh, and also if its possible to just bring the 4.77 gear to a diff mechanic and have them use the old parts?

i'm a huge supporter of 4.77s but that's because i'm only at the max doing 60 mph. the interstate is maybe thirty minutes off the coastline and since i never (in general) leave the coast or bay on the daily i rarely venture to the interstate. but, 80 mph at 5000 rpm is a bit strenuous for me. i do mostly stop light driving and if i did extensive highway driving (at or near vtec) i'd either get a lesser gear or just cruise at 60 mph (low & slow)...

i'd go through s2kpuddydad. nobody can build it better. my differential is beautiful...
