Default Koni Shocks + Swift SR Springs or *brand here* coilovers?

So I have Koni Yellow Shocks on, with what I believe are stock springs. I want to lowers my car for both aesthetic and performance reasons. Performance supersedes aesthetics to me, though I will not be racing and cash is a factor. I just want to make my car as efficient as possible with the best bang for buck.

Performance wise, would the shock/spring combo better, the same, or worse than buying some coilovers?

Money wise, considering I do already have Koni Shocks, would it I get more bang for buck the shocks?

Overall, what would be my best option? What offers me more?

Thanks.

I have this setup and love it. I know a lot of the CR guys really like the Swift springs as well.

Overall setup is more important than what brand or single product you buy. Since you're not tracking the car...its hard to quantify any of it.

I think the springs and Konis will perform better than stock...as long as you're not using lowering springs AND the lower perch on the shock to over lower the car.

Do you think you can post a picture of the drop you got? I'd really appreciate it! Also hows the performance?

I think it's advertised as a 1.25" drop

I really like the ride and handling. My set up is 3 clicks and 5 clicks from full hard, but I cant remember which is front and which is rear lol

If you are only concerned with performance, and not asthetics, there is not a lot to be gained by lowering. Plus you have to drive careful (and slow) over any rough pavement.

Your Koni's have 2 mounting options for the springs. Stock, and slightly lowered. Try just moving them to the lowered position and see how you like it. A free mod, just the effort for you to do it.
