You could also remove the stereo and the speakers.

Have fun.

Best way to save weight? Remove yourself from the car and purchase something else.

Get some helium ballons and attach to front of car, and add some in the trunk also. You can put helium in your tires but you might float away..

You want to spend $3400 on brakes...because they're lighter? This makes no sense for a street car.

For $3400, you could have bought a used SC kit and made more than enough power to overcome the weight issue.

You can delete the AC and sweat your balls off. Depending on how much your balls weigh, this could be significant. The AC itself will probably save you like 30-40lbs.

You could also remove the cruise (2-5lbs), replace the rubber hoses with silicone (0.5lbs?), get a header (10-15lbs), buy an intake (1lb), etc. etc. etc.

You'll have spent $thousands and you'll be very sweaty (AC), and unable to maintain a speed over large distances (cruise control). Your wallet will be lighter and you'll be lighter due to the sweating. There def. won't be a girl in the passenger seat...because girls don't like sweaty guys or being sweaty themselves. So...depending on the girl, that's like a 100-500lb savings. Plus, the added power from the intake/header setup. So...iduno...the car would probably go a little faster.

Or...again...take those $$ thousands, go F.I. and forget about the 50lb weight issue from removing all your equipment. You'll also have AC and CC and all the things that seperate us from the apes.

Why exactly are you obsessing over weight? What is the end goal?
This.
