Default Lightweight Flywheel

Hi All!

I am after a lightweight flywheel for an AP1; nothing too 'extreme' as i use the car for daily driving.

Also i am based in the UK. What brand/company would people recommend looking at?

Thanks

AP1 is already at 13lbs I believe so anything less would make daily driving a bit more of a pain.

I bought an AP1 flywheel for my AP2 ... I figure the original car (AP1) was as finely tuned as the factory thought made sense.

So if it was a good idea to put an 8# flywheel in a highly tuned STREET car, they would have.

If you are keeping the stock clutch the ACT Prolite at 8.6 lbs works fine, I've been running it for a couple of seasons now and no complaints. I wouldn't run it with a higher force pressure plate as it will be harder to modulate, but I think it works fine with the stock pp and clutch disc.

I'm running the Fidanza aluminum, with OE clutch and ACT HD pressure plate. Plenty easy to drive. Wish it was lighter!
