It looks fast too!
Should be last sept early oct. That sounds awesome. Im located in Alabama atm. Just let me know. I was planning on putting on my itbs next week however i got a fender bender and i need to fix it first.
great project Greg!!!
let me know when GB is rolling.
i'm with Rick's header and Q300 and AEM v2 intake and F20C engine - should work fine for me, right?
that 5500rpm resonance
now i understand why "e-tunez" said they're getting bad results with VTEC lower than 5600....

If I said the resonant dip was at 5500 RPMs, that's actually not quite right. If I remember correctly, the center of the dip is closer tp 5000, beginning at about 4500 and ending at about 5500.
As long as you have the ability to tune, early VTEC engagement will not change fuel economy. However, I would expect most people to get better fuel economy due to the change in their driving habits. By having so much midrange torque, you spend less time in lower gears at higher RPMs.
Great news! The new 2.5" Magnaflow single is a winner! It has even less drone than the "twisted" U-bend 2.5" muffler from last week, which makes it the least droning single I've ever made. However, it's quite a bit louder than the twisted muffler when you get on it above about 4500 RPMs. It's also significantly lighter. However, as expected, it has quite a bit of rasp, which should be taken care of by the sound deadening that I will be adding to the expansion chamber. So now I'm basically going to settle into a "holding pattern" until I receive the custom perforated megaphones later this month.
BTW, I'm looking for the "right" candidate to do some independent dyno testing. For the first test, I'd like that person to have an '06+ AP2, stock header, and a FlashPro. If any of you guys fit that description, and are interested in testing it, please contact me. I'm considering several different ways to compensate for your time and effort. I'm also considering putting together another pre-production "test unit" using scrap pieces of old prototypes, which the tester could have for free or throw away...

It's probably mentioned somewhere in this thread but I can't remember. Is the rasp in this configuration partly due to using that specific muffler, or would it be present with any muffler if you don't add that sound deadening material?
