Here is a picture of where my exhaust project started. I wanted an exhaust similar to the 3" Berk Single, but in a dual outlet version. I considered it to be a "dingle".

Aside from the welds, this is the finished product. I don't have any plans to offer a full exhaust system, since the S2000 market has already been flooded with so many exhaust systems in so many different styles. The only way I believe a product like this could be successfull for a car that is no longer in production is to sell it as a retrofit for existing exhaust systems. If you already have an exhaust system that looks and sounds good, but want to get a boost in performance and eliminate drone while being 49 state legal, then replace your mid-pipe with this one.

My current plan is to offer it with a 60mm input (matches the OEM header) OR with just a "stub" for you guys to weld on your own input. Any exhaust shop could cut / weld this mid-pipe into an existing system in less than an hour. However, if there is a significant demand for larger input sizes, I would consider offering them.

Since I just noticed that I'm a sponsor now, I guess I can share more about my plan! I will be announcing a group buy soon for 10-20 units, and hope to keep the price below $1000. The cost for the material is seriously expensive, and the labor cost for building the fixtures, hand cutting all the bends, and hand welding each joint drives the total production cost through the roof. I will actually be doing this at a loss, but want to get samples out there. If there winds up being demand for more units, then I may pursue more cost effective production methods.

The full mid-pipe would replace everything between the header and rear axles (or a few inches past the rear axles). To install it, the muffler shop would need to cut the existing mid-pipe, and weld it to the new mid-pipe. Or a better option would be to install a flange in the existing exhaust, then add a flange to the outlet of the new mid-pipe. This would allow you to easily swap the other mid-pipe back on if you want to sell them separately.
