Default Low drone..

So my buddy who has an 06 WRX got an exhaust (yes i know the wrx / s2k is very different exhaust wise) but it sounds amazing and its real nice and low, smooth and NOT loud, and LOW drone..

So it got me thinking, is it possible for a single for the s2k to sound similar, and not have the drawbacks of most single exhausts IE: lots of drone / loud at cruising speeds). Going from a dual to a single, i would be excited about the new power gains and such..
but my question(s) is this..

1) What singles (if any) are out there that dont have any/very minimal drone and not riduclously loud? I want to still be able to hear my stock (minus HU) sound system

2) If i have a berk testpipe (63mm) would getting a 70mm single cause a bottleneck effect and be worse than getting a 63mm single, which would be the same size as my testpipe?

Any help suggestions are greatly appreciated!

The singles available that don't have much or any drone are expensive. J's 60RS and 70RS, or the Amuse Extra Titan are the ones I have heard.

T1R 70R-EM is the absolute best 70mm single. There is practically no drone and a fantastic sound

The ASM 70 is very quiet for a single.

My T1R 70mm isn't all that bad with a test pipe. The only time it drones is when the car is under load going up a big hill or something. Cruising at 70mph the car is actually really tame.

I also have the 70EM single, and with a test pipe, the drone is very low.

I have the t1r 70 em single and its bearable. Low drone and relatively livable when cruising. ASM 70mm ss is supposed to be even more quiet than the t1r unit.
