My MODS actually work!
definetely true. Besides, since i'm leaning towards the greddy kit, it's small enough to kick in pretty low and even though dies off at the top, i dont want something crazy. i feel 350 whp is enough for a daily driven car.
I'm looking for terms of reliability while having the power there. since the engines we possess are the engines to do it with, i look forward in having that. I'm not out to having the most HP or so because then it becomes a competition. who has more.. who's the fastest. i been there and done that. And the thing is with that, there is ALWAYS someone that is faster and better. Always... So my goal is 350 whp....once that is done and i feel i want more, then i'll proceed from there. But i'm happy with that.
Oh ... i get complimented on the exhaust alot too man! hahaha..
anything new to your ride?

The truth, Skip does tell...Knowledgeable he is... (yoda)...nothing new to the car since i bought another one...i talked myself out of FI and think ima save my money for the Racelogic traction control... then see skip and the boys on the racetrack next season...
hahaha nice..
Skip, I wont judge you until i meet you and i know its hard to read people over forums and what not. Thats why i appologized the way i came off in this thread cuz i can assure you that i'm not like that in person.
I meant what i said when i said i would like to meetcha. Its always great to meet the "yoda's" because obviously i'm new to S2000's and would love to learn a great deal of knowledge. I'm much more of a person to LIsten then to speak when im not as knowledgeable in something.
I've been hearing some good things about the racelogic. I'm gonna have to get up with ya Anthony so i can get more details about this
So no turbo eh? I would reaaaaally love to get it but just more spendy that i would like to spend. But i know its the only Real way to get the Power that im looking for.

see, i dont know jack about SC.. and i'm hearing horror stories about the belts slipping and what not.
My great buddy and tuner said that he can get a new greddy kit pretty cheap and thats what i'm hoping for and HE would be doing the 3 mm HG install and upgrading the injectors and tuning. So hopefully we'll see how it pans out

there are horror stories with both sides of the coin...either way, i would sleep better being stock, so i opted to just stay as stock as possible or at least use some version of an oem part (my vented hood/ ap2 wheels) and refine the vehicle...i should have just bought the nsx when i was looking at it...but the fun for money value of the s2k was too great...
OH AWESOME! so you had a supercharger?! dood, ok so now i definately gotta get up with ya so you can shed some light on it for me. All i know are turbo's.
So a low boost supercharger is more reliable than say a 350 WHP setup turbo kit? or did i just not read that right.
I just cant pass up a deal on a greddy turbo kit that is pretty cheap and around the HP that i want. I dont mind the lag so much. Because with a smaller turbo like the 18g, it shouldnt be too much of a lag. Whats your opinion on that?

go to the FI forum and read read read...tons of info...and i would say a low boost ctsc is the most reliable form of boost for the s2000 thus far...check the threads for the greddy turbo kit and really ask yourself if you are prepared for that...and yes I am pretty sure skip could answer almost any sc question you may have but first it is an s2ki mandate that you search lol..in fact skip is hosting a meet i believe dec 16 at the bowling center on quantico...you should be able to meet some of the guys if there not out of town on vacation...check it out in the local mid-atlantic forum under the "north east region"

And no "real" tuning per se. You still to throw it on the dyno to check A/F.I know very little about turbo's. I have never run an aftermarket turbo. I did have one on my '85 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z though.
