I was just watching videos on you tube of stock s2ks and ? Am i going to be very disappointed in my NA s2k. Again im just asking cause i dont know what to expect but it looked like they were taking awhile to even get to 100 i mean i can hit that easy on an on ramp. Or should i be good with all the mods we have talked about.
Most of the time if its s2k vs s2k it will come down to the driver. Ive beaten other modded s2ks and have lost to stock ones. Bolt-ons for the s2000 just dont do as much as you would expect it to do compared to any other car.

Your scaring me. I just hope i am not going to be really disappointed. I wish i would have started NA and then gone to s/c and not the other way around. With all the bolt ons from experience what do you guys compare it to on the road. Cause as of now im spanking gto's mustangs camaros. I know i wont be anymore but are they just going to walk me. Its not that im worried about racing cause i could care less i just like having the power when i need it.

if you are concerned with power why are you getting rid of your S/C?

You will make more power with the SC than you will with any NA setup. Besides a full out 2.5L stroker kit and ITBs.

With ITBs and a full 2.5 stroker kit the max you will be putting out is 300whp... SC's have that right out the box, with exhaust and tuning s/c should be around 320.

Also consider with ITB's and the stroker kit you will probably spend twice as much as a used s/c kit...

For gears if you drive mostly around town 4.77 is the best. This will also make you the fastest but will cause you to lose alot of top speed. Probably only hit 130~.

Personally if you highway alot like and still want gears thant go with 4.44. THey are known to be the fastest 1/4 mile gears because they don't make you shift an extra time.

4.56 are a good compromise for in between.

Honestly your not gonna be happy going from FI to NA. Esp b.c ur SC makes your car drive like an NA but alot faster. But if you do everything i said you should be pretty quick. If you can find a good tuner try to get them to make vtec engage at 4200 and rev to 8500. Make them partial tune it so when at 4200-6000 u dont hit vtec unless at WOT like the hondata tune does. However, this depends on if you have a good tuner.

Honestly, if you go NA ur gonna end up spending around $2k minimum. Might as well keep ur sc because ur prob gonna sell that for 3-4k

He has an AP1...
for ap1s vtec shouldn't be lower than 5500ish. And his car already revs to 9k...
