For a drive by wire car get the Hondata reflash for a Toda header and a top brand header (Toda, Js or ASM), then call it a day.
A test pipe and 70mm single exhaust too will give a bit more hp and save a lot of weight.

Agree with most everything - reflash, i/h/e, and gears.
Retains the feel of the car as it sits now, just.....better
The problem though...is if you add up what you spend on those )depending on what you get) you are getting close to a SC... And I really didnt mind the SC car i rode in - feels very much like stock, keeps the response just kinda like super Vtec

This is what you want:
The cheap and effective way is to go with an AEM intake, toda header, hondata intake manifold gasket, test pipe or high flow cat and any 70mm exhaust then get the hondata reflash.
Anything else will cost mucho bucks for minimal gain and more headache.

what kind of tuning must be done to the engine to produce a higher reliable redline, say 9000 or above?
As far as substituting parts, I wouldn't do it because the tune was made with those parts in mind. If you put the J's header on for example you will probably run a bit too lean. The intake is one area you can probably use whatever you want, although it would be best to run the AEM.
Spend your extra money on the gears... For an AP2 get the 4.3 or 4.44 set.

I drove an owner with the new kraftwerks s/c base kit and i was shockingly amazed by the power input!!! The power through powerband was so smooth. The supercharger is amazing. It looks like a sleeper when you look under the hood and even the intercooler is black. The s/c was to work with stock components and even the stock ecu.
Man i wish i had new about this s/c before because i have k&n fipk intake. Mugen headers, invidia testpipe and invidia dual v4 exhaust.
I love all my mods i have right now but after driving that stock honda s2000 with the s/c i wished i had the s/c system first.
I am kind of annoyed of the testpipe and invidia exhaust because its too loud and i am a DD, plus i am a target too the cops. I am taking out my invidia exhaust and testpipe this week and put on the stock cat and exhaust by on my 04 s2k until next summer when its dry up here in washington.
What is this reflash everyone been talking about what is that exactly someoen send me info please.
