Trust me, if you do decide to get gears, get the 4.44 since you have an ap2.

I would just save a used s/c.

Sorry, I don't get it?

Also, how much are those Recommended i/h/e set ups ( + gears ) cost in comparison with just supercharging the car?

Dont go N/A it will cost you a lot of money.

If going SC...

hum...supercharging is going to cost you a good bit of cash. let me try to break it down for you.

since Kraftwerks is the only SC kit out for the 06+ cars, we'll start with that.

KW SC base kit- $6,495.00 (got the price off their site)(should get you 320whp or so)
clutch kit- $1000~$2000 (depending on which kit)
Gauges- $400~$1000 (depending on which gauges)

it'll be roughly $8000 or so without installation..figure in another $1500 if you are not doing the installs yourself!!

I say it's gonna cost you roughly 10,000 to be on the safe side!!

If going NA....

Mugen cooling mods- therm, fan sw, rad cap.
Hondata IMG
Toda header
Test pipe
single exhaust
4.44 gears
also, have Hondta lower VtaK engagement to 4k rpm and raise redline to 8.5k or so.

you can purchase some parts used, that'll save you a good bit of money. should run you about $3000 or so.

so, If I'm reading this correctly, SC route is 10k + and the NA route would be 3k+ ?

not necessary, but people do get gears with superchargers and even some turbos.

Also to question about raising the redline, you need a new ecu/relfash or something along those lines, strengthen valve train is also highly recomened, but like mentioned will horribly increase wear so the safe way to do it buy an ap1

I mean , if the NA route is less than half of the SC route I'm obviously sticking to NA
