I had to take this appart to clean it. (It was very dirty and even had a big spider web on the inside when I got it from a store at ebay. Looked perfect in the ad. Fortunately I got my money back)
Does anybode here know where to place the new glue, how much glue to use, and what kind of glue? I'm thinking I should use something very sticky that is still sticky when it's dry since it's difficult to remove the old glue. The old glue doesn't get very hard when it's dry either.

I would seal the lens with clear RTV, will bond well on a clean surface and is completely waterproof. Good luck.
