MANY people have asked this question, and to be honest I have never seen a satisfactory response - maybe its time to get a little creative??

For example, try putting a piece of doublesided tape onto the mounting locations on the strake.

Intall onto the car in the correct location and push hard.

Remove strake and hopefully the doublesided tape will be in position on the car

Drill there

unfortunately that may have to suffice... kind of nervous about drilling arbitrarily though...

in all honesty you dont really need the mounting hole drilled on the side of the car. The locations in the rear fender well and under the car will suffice - just use 3M Automotive tape if you feel you want to secure the strake to the side of the car in addition to those 3 screws.
