Hi guys i am from northern ireland an i have a bmw e30 runinng a honda s2000 running gear..

I have the honda rear diff in my car with a kazz 1.5 way diff..It was also running a j,s racing 5.1 crown wheel and pinion..

I had it out at a track day last sunday an the pinion has now broken off 2 teeth..

I really need to get this sorted but i dont want to pay the £780 plus vat for a new crown wheel an pinion..

What would my options be? is there any other good quality CWP out there at cheaper money? I would even buy a 2nd hand pinion if i could..What would you guys advise me to do? I could also put a standard diff back in but i really did like the acceleration of the 5.1

Either way it sounds like you will need a diff rebuild. The only ring and pinion close to that at a cheaper price could be the 4.77 set from kia.
