im going to order the NRG Hood Damper from envasive (thats the cheapest place I found it) but it says there's two different kinds "2 Types available, one for lightweight hoods, and another for standard hoods."
I have the oem hood for now but I'm going to get a cf hood in about 3 months... So what ones should I get?

I've gone through Envasive before and have never had any bad experiences...
But If anyone knows a cheaper place to order feel free to let me know!

 

buy the one for cf hoods and just install it in 3 months

 

so buy the one for light weight hoods?
you don't think those will hold the oem hood? It's pretty light as we all know lol

I'm running the NRG hood dampeners for carbon fiber hoods with my OEM hood. Holds up the hood just fine and is very easy to open and close. The previous set I had installed on the car were designed for a heavier hood and made it more difficult to close the hood.

 

Depending on what you buy. The oem hood will most likely be lighter then the CF hood.
