hoodpins? any better then the other
about to buy a CF hood and it says on their site that hood pins are required even though some have it without them...well i dont wanna have that thing fly up on me so are any other hood pins any better then any other ones?

Hood pins will always be "required" from the vendor who sells them as a disclaimer and precautionary statement. In fact there are very few CF hoods that require the use of pins.
The CF hoods all use the stock latch and are just as strong as the stock hood.
If you simply prefer the look of the pins..then they are all pretty much the same with the exception of how the plate attaches to the hood itself.
Hood pins are more for dry carbon applications that are extremely light and even rattle at high speeds...
Hood pins for street applications are a PITA... I've used them....and they look nice....but you will regret using them when you realize you don't want ANYONE opening your hood but yourself.

im not really sure..i hear on some it is and some their isnt...mine is more that my hood is an off black anyway so it looks bad so its either get another stock hood or just get a CF hood and since i got the seibon top im getting a hood to match then eventually a trunk...i love the look of it
