Default Oem hardtop adjustment help

so after reading tons of different threads and reading all the direction i have found on adjusting an oem hardtop i can not figure out why my drivers side is miss aligned and allowing some wind noise from the window. passenger side is great but you can see from the drivers side that it is not far enough forward. I've tried to loosing everything and push it as far forward as i can but after this point in the picture it doesn't budge as the front latch is already seated into the striker and everything against the front windshield is even on both sides. anyone have any ideas on how to get this aligned? thanks
drivers side

passanger side

I don't know if you can really adjust it forward or rearward much, every car is different and body parts flex and move over time, if the front is tight and even that is probably all you can do with it. You can adjust the rear of the hardtop left and right (driver side to passenger side), by loosening the bolts on the rear plates and using a ruler to get it even on both sides. Once you have it evenly centered then tighten up the bolts on the rear plates. You can do it with the front latches closed, all bolts on the rear plates loosened.

If you get wind noise there is a retainer under the rubber seals that can be loosened and moved outwards. The retainer holds the rubber seals, so moving the retainer also moves the rubber seals. Moving them outwards can reduce wind noise and water leaks. The metal retainers are held in place with phillips screws, pull off the rubber seals, loosen the screws, move the retainer outwards and tighten the screws. Then push the rubber seals back in place onto the retainer.

I've just adjusted my two hardtops about 100 times, including complete dismantling and re-assembly during painting, so I've spent too much time messing with them, lol.
