I do plan to corner balance the car soon. I'll report back about that as well, since I plan to do the balancing myself.

Thanks for the appreciation about the review!

great review gernby, I wish I had 3k layin around on to blow on coilovers, I just dont get to the autox/track enough to justify the cost. Maybe kw v3's next time around, but so far my pss's are holding up just fine.

IMO it's better off here on this forum where more people will probably see it. This is the aftermarket modification and parts forum and the Ohlins are a mod. But actually the main reason I'm saying that is because I go on the suspension forum so rarely I forget it even exists! If Greg didn't post here I wouldn't have read his excellent review.

for the thorough review.

I fixed the front ride height when I got home (quick and easy), then went for another test drive. I was even more impressed than last night, and no longer worry that the car will be less fun (fighting the car is fun). I now realize that being able to simply drive faster should make up for it. It's been a long time since I've been this satisfied by a car related purchase (probably since the FlashPro, which is my favorite mod of all time!)..

Great review, I appreciate it. I've spoken to a rep at Ohlins quite a bit about these, and have been planning on getting them when I have the money.

Awesome review. Anybody have both and can compare to KW V3s or Clubsports?

I haven't driven or ridden in an S2000 with KW V3's, but I have competed against several of them over the last couple years. The biggest thing I noticed about them was that they never looked like they handled as well as the S2000's with Motons or AST's. One of the S2000 owners who had KW V3's told me that he didn't think the KW V3's were cut out for autocrossing as much as tracking. I guess they handled better on slower transitions than on quick / hard ones like slaloms ...

I could see that, especially with the kwv3 springs being about 515lb/in, guys with motons/ast's normally run spring much stiffer rates chosen specific to their application thus making them easier to transition the chassis around. The ast5100s (forget the series) seem like a great buy as well in their price range.

I'm at a shop right now getting an alignment and corner balance. I just got great news that the corner weights are already almost perfect!
