Competition Clutch Stage 2 = BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Eibach Pro Kit with stock shocks. I scraped my front bumper and crushed the hell out of my mid frame bar shortly after. Ride was a lot worse than OEM, but im sure with 60k miles on the OEM shocks, they werent in their prime anyway. I should have just went coilovers to begin with.

Not going FI to begin with and spending around 3k on NA mods only to dyno and find out im making stock HP. Hopefully the $250 I spend to get tuned with my $220 VAFCI doesnt flop too lol

I experienced the opposite. the pro kit i think is one of my best mods. I definitely think it was your shocks. mines rides identical to stock, with just a little bit of lowering.

I haven't done any mods to mine yet but there are two things in my opinion that HAVE to be changed-- not to say these are bad mods, but I live in the city of 7 hills and am also not going to be on the track anytime soon...

Exedy stage 1 hyperclutch-- I'm a girl, living with city traffic....that does not equal easy driving. Guy who owned it before me loved it because it worked well with the gearset. My husband also really liked it once he got used to it but agreed it's pretty hardcore.

Springs-- car is slammed. looks sexy and is a suprisingly smoothe ride but I'd like to not fear losing the front end of my car if i need to clear anything taller than an ant. I'm told spacers will ruin the ride so coilovers for me in the near future.

Other than that wouldn't change a thing. I'll have to see how I feel in a few about the invidia exhaust everyone has been talking about

Not so much regret, but I'm annoyed with the oem side strake coming loose on the passenger side. Dealer installed too.

one thing i regret is the test pipe, smell like crap, not worth the whp. i got the berk 70mm hfc instead so much better. and so many damn intakes. never really satisfied with any intakes. from stock to FIPK to snorkel the fit like crap (stock hood version but rubbed like no other and slightly warped the hood and made a huge gap between bumper and hood) to aem v2, and damn ap1 cams the made me almost blow my motor, which destroyed my all my intake valves. also, ebay x-brace. damn thing didnt fit right, had to fit it with spacers and then the holes didnt fit right. and now im not sure if it even works. although ppl say it does but someone show me real data of faster lap times.

also, dumbass ricer in me thought a ricer led knob was cool and screwed up my shifter threads, tornado does nothing and walmart exhaust tips.

and oh, ap2v3 rims. nothing wrong with them, i like the look. but for 1000 dollars and a little more i could have some better looking rims like RPF1 or some good used sets.

oh more things to add, crappy tires!!!!!!! i wish i would just do research on my damn tires before i bought them. should have just got star specs in the first place. khumo mx and xs, bfg KDW2, hankook rs-2, had alot of flaws in them. but no doubt they had a crap load of good in them.

mx- was a good tire when heated up, but cold=very bad news
xs- great and damn good if hot like the mx but way better, but cold/rain/snow=death
KDW2- rain was awesome, snow was pretty good, and sleet (was not on purpose but i was caught in a storm and they got me home safe without sliding of any sort), but low grip for me for the money
rs-2- alot of good here, grip was good and rain was pretty good. but again rather just stick to the star spec.

on a side note of thing i wish i didnt buy but really dont care that i bought them. vodoo shift knob, apr cooling plate, c's style short shifter and wheel spacers. dont really care that i spent money on these if i did it again i wouldnt but since i have i will keep them. (well if anyone offers a good price on these i will sell it). but i guess the most important one that i dont mind having but damn if i wait a couple more months, my toda reflash. (could have gotten flash pro)

off topic now: a another good thread to make would be. "thing i wish i got instead" b/c i wish i got "quiet car" or something to quiet the car. or flash pro.

just a little thing, and not in a mean way or anything. but i read a lot of you guys giving up on your aftermarket catback systems, after not having them on your car for very long. ive had my skunk2 (i know its crap) for about 8 months now the drone does lessen after a while. either that or im just goin deaf.

and setting of car alarms with your loud ass exhaust is one of lifes greatest pleasures, dont complain!
