I recently purchased a 2005 that is rather heavily modified. In an effort to repair - update - know what I have and
what to do, I'm trying to figure out what some of them are. I'm a newbie when it comes to the S2000. This forum is
beyond a life saver for me and have found (with the help of the search button) the answer to almost every question I've
had (without posting pictures) up to this point.

Many are obvious (mods)... but still have questions about them Please post any comment you'd like whether
good or bad/negative. This will help me figure out the best way to go. Have noticed different motor
mounts - has a new AC compressor.

What are obvious:
Enkei RPF1 - 18" Don't know the widths but the tires are Hankook 255-35ZR-18 / 275-40ZR-18
Smoked Tail lights - Brake light
Tein Coilovers
Radiator - Mishimoto


What brand / who makes the:
Cold Air intake
Body Kit
Front head light assy.
Headers - stock? / aftermarket-who's?
Exhaust - Sankei stock? / aftermarket?
Rotors
Gauges (3) on dash
Hoses
sway bar?
Drive shaft - stock? / aftermarket-who's?
Don't know if there is a different ECU, haven't got that far in to it yet.

Header, exhaust, and driveshaft are all OEM

Motor mount also looks OEM, but can't say for certain.

 

I was pretty sure those were... just thought it was odd the DS was marked that way. From the looks I'd say the MM's are not the
original ones.

Sure hoping someone can tell what manufacturer the body kit is. Needs a little help with both the front and rear bottom
lip/trim pieces?

 

Those front fenders look an awful lot like the extreme dimensions / duraflex kit -

Headlights are some sort of eBay headlight for sure

Duraflex makes that rear bumper and rear over fenders as well.

Going to guess that is the manufacturer based on other parts on the car, but i could be wrong.

Exhaust is OEM AP2 i believe.

 

Also pretty obvious MOD this was silverstone ...and not a black car.

Anyway wtf is going on with that large bolt sticking thru the rear subraframe in pic 005?

 

Cold Air intake: Looks like weapon R but could just be some hack job
Body Kit: Fenders are ASM rep's front and rear. Not sure on the rear bumper but likely a rep from ED as well.
Front head light assy: Ebay Junk
Headers - stock? / aftermarket-who's? OEM
Exhaust - Sankei stock? / aftermarket? OEM
Rotors: Who knows they look like they need to be replaced.
Gauges (3) on dash Do these light up and if so what does the little emblem say on them? They look a little like my innovative gauge but not sure. Really sad they cut their dash for that crap.
Hoses: Samco (I mean it says it right on the house
sway bar? Either eibach or judging from the quality of the other parts it is likely a godspeed one since everything else looks like Ebay junk.
Drive shaft - stock? / aftermarket-who's? OEM


I hope you got this thing real cheap because these parts are all pretty crappy and some are pretty irreversible like the cut rear quarter panels. I wish you luck in restoring it.

 

Tein coil overs aren't really crappy.
Rear toe arms look fine.
Eibach bar

Not bad suspension wise, but yes body is poor.

 

The pink rods shown are a toe adjustable bump steer correction piece. Thought they were Megan at first which is what I run. Not sure who B-max is

Looks like some kind of sensor someone added to the red radiator hose? Likely related to one of the aftermarket dash temp/gauges.

The blue s2000 writing on the driveshaft is not stock, but typical of a junk yard replacement part. The original had issues apparently and was replaced.

Aftermarket CF radiator cooling plate, with a overflow tank that looks like a oil catch can

 

Enh the depends on the model of tein coilover. That's probably the best part on the car from what I see. The rad is decent as well. Also I don't see anything that marks the bar as an eibach one and the Godspeed is a rep of that. It's red as well.

 

Now we're getting somewhere. Car was bought right... 19,500 mi. I'd be surprised if there's anyone who wouldn't have bought
it for what I paid. Enjoying learning about the car and going through the car. Looking forward to upgrading the mods that are
needed and adding to them. Big thanks to this forum and the folks responding. It will be awhile but after pictures will be posted.

Seems to be "clean", doesn't look like it was pieced together. Fits well.

Rotors: Who knows they look like they need to be replaced.
Rotors were cleaned up after the pictures were taken. Cleaned up well. Certainly work well. The car stops on a dime.
No fade or squeeling, rattling. Been researching (as with everything) and will replace them once I've figured out the
consensus as to which ones are the best... as with everything else.

Keep the responses coming. Like I said, good or bad. This is my new project, hobby so to speak. Really excited to
make this puppy just exactly the way I want it. Won't be stock but then that's not what I want(ed).
