The more I look at the pictures the more odd things jump out. Just trying to find the bolt you were talking about because there is also another random long bolt in the intake picture as well. The one on the rear definitely looks like something that would hold on a rear diffuser.

Another thing I noticed are the green axle cups. Can't ever remember seeing green ones before. Maybe replacements or something?

The car was clearly repainted since that is not an oem color but the paint in the pics look decent.

Another odd thing is the piece on the front fenders that is riveted on behind the wheel just in front of the door. At first I thought they just fit wrong but in the last pic it is clearly a piece that is riveted on. Never seen that part before.

Also what the hell are these things circled in blue?

If I look at other pictures from the same angle you just see the bolts there.

Whats with the giant bolt in the lower right of the picture? Why are the axle buckets green?

^Read the rest of my post. I mentioned the axle cups and the bolt looks like it was maybe for a diffuser like someone else speculated.

Well.... now you can see why I've posted pictures and am asking questions, and for help.

The car will be back on the lift in a couple of days and these parts will be cleaned up and better pictures taken. Not sure I will ever
have the answers outside of what the Forum can come up with.

That which needs replaced, removed etc. is all part of the resto. ahead of this car over the next several months. Everything will be
cleaned, and replaced or in some cases, removed, repaired.

The body kit with a little TLC and repair really isn't that bad... need to find out the manu. so I can bring it back to "new."

Currently looking for new headlight assemblies and a Titanium Single Exhaust, like new or new.

Have already found a (Cusco) Titanium Upper strut brace, lower front sub frame brace and ladder brace. Long way to go. Hope everyone
will continue to follow this thread.

Thanks again

Take a closer picture of those things I circled. I am really curious what the heck they are.

the rear is a Cwest style bumper with custom flare extensions molded on to match the ASM style rear fender flares.

the front fenders are ASM style, but have an additional part riveted onto the bottom--not sure who makes that, never seen it before.

Also, I'm guessing that long bolt hanging from the rear subframe is for a diffuser as well.

Overall, looks like it's been through a lot...

The bottom of the radiator support is dented.
The exhaust hanger on the resonator has been rewelded.
The prop shaft has writing on it, probably replaced from a junk yard (usually dismantlers write on parts like this).
The drive shaft buckets are green (AFAIK, oem buckets aren't green?)
Ghetto radiator stay mounts.

Also, I was going to say that all the cooling mods and gauges always automatically make me think the car was boosted. Upon closer inspection, it looks like it may have been turobcharged.

The paint lines on the header nuts don't line up (the header has been removed before) and I see bits that look like they're from the GReddy turbo kit. 2 signs, 1 which i can't see very well because it's a dark picture though. 1: in the picture that shows the bottom of the CAI, at the bottom right corner of the radiator support, there's a stud on rubber mount that isn't mounted to anything. That looks like the one used in the GReddy kit for mounting the intercooler piping. 2. The dark engine bay picture looks to have a black L shaped bracket hanging over the middle of the cross member. If that's what i think it is, then it's for relocating the secondary air control solenoid valve (the sensor that usually mounts to the side of the stock intake box)and also for one of the mounting points for the air diversion plate that comes with the kit.

Looks like remnants of a Cusco style rear bar that was torn or cut off. I see blue and raw aluminum. Like i said, looks like this car has been through a lot!!

There is a small crossbar brace missing from the subframe, that is why there is a stud sticking out iirc.

They look like a rear diffuser mounting location that was bolted in but rather then removed, were just cut off and the ears left bolted on. Just my guess based on what little im seeing. The single long bolt was probably another mount point for the diffuser.

The axle cups just look like oem to me which someone felt the need to paint for show because they were bored one day or during a cup swap.

Didn't bother to mention to OP, but since we are looking under the rear of the car, obviously the lower tie bar isnt stock, though still looks like stamped steel like OEM. Not sure what the point of replacing it with essentially the same thing was.

After looking at the post above with the added cusco bar, thats exactly what was there, and as I thought was hacked off. Also if you look at the factory cross brace location, you will see the same blue stamped steel unit. Must have been part of the cusco package?
