well I was trying to keep my project below $50 and the cheapest I forund the piranha leds was like 20 for $12 and I needed over 300 leds so that wasn't my route.
but how did you wire yours? Like 12v, to resistor, led? Or what I'd like to know

if this goes well I'm gonna try to find a used set of AP1 headlights and make a led lowbeam and high beem nothing like they offer online. I'm talkn like 350,000 LUMENS for lowbeem at 10,000K. And ,840,000 LUMENS at 10,000K for the highbeam those leds are avalible just exspensive. Like $15 per led I might need 4 for the low beam and 6 for the high beam. FYI 840,000 LUMENS is bright enough to see over a mile away we have a led flash light with 1,000,000 lumens and it's like a spot light. It's pretty sweet just wanna try something like the 2010 audi R8 led headlights, they didn't use bulbs on it now it's leds for the low and high beams

I just rated mine at 14volts because the voltage i was reading when i had the car on was about 13.6v.

but yea, i soldered the wires that the LEDs are connected by to the plug on the taillight side so it would just be a plug and play.

The LEDs are wired series that are then run in parallel.

This is what i used:

I'll post a video up later of my taillights at night
