Project S: 1g of Lateral Acceleration
I'm not sure which forum to post this in, but my goal with my current Ap1 is not 9,000 bhp or mounting HD TV's underneath the car, "pimp my ride" style...
I want the car to be able to (consistently) handle 1g of lateral acceleration.
Question: Is this even feasible? If so, apart from good tires, what would be the ideal starting place on the suspension?
Any input is appreciated

Ok, so according to this thread, it's possible to pull 1.5g with the interior stripped, a wing, and some suspension work...
I'm curious, since I've done suspension work on my previous Ap1 and didn't really get *that* much more cornering out of it, what would you guys recommend?

Functional aero, a good set of coilovers, stiffer sway bars, mild weight reduction, and the stickiest tires you can handle are going to your ticket to pulling max g-forces. 1.5G is not likely to be achieved with a street car. Also, don't confuse maximum lateral acceleration with average lateral acceleration (which is the figure most car mags quote).
Constant or instant?
Instant is easy to do 1g in a S2000.
Constant is pretty easy too, just add RS3s, Star Specs, NT05s, or virtually any other tire with 200 treadwear.
I've seen 1.3G constant with just R-comps (RA1s), springs, and a hardtop. Add aero, slicks, coilovers, and I'm sure 1.5G is attainable.

^ he started only wanting 1g, but I think he has been getting teased by the 1.5G numbers being tossed around. 1 G should easy to achieve since the car has a high starting point. Keep in mind you need to add the right parts, not just suspesion parts in general. Some parts may reduce performance if they aren't designed properly, such as lowering too much can actually hurt performance. etc.
