Default PuddyMod rear end... Quiet.. :)

Just got my rear end back yesterday. Puddydad Stage 2 w/ 4.57 gears. My diff. started a horrible whine and a slight leak. The noise was unbearable for a 20 min ride to work. I contacted s2kpuddydad and he recomended to stop driving now, so I did. I parked the S and put it up on jackstands until fixed.

Ben did a GREAT job. Quiet...Wow! I also did a few more things while it was out of commission. I wrapped the whole exhaust, added sound dampner lining to the trunk and the tunnel. This eliminated the exhaust drone (HKS single). Now, I still hear exhaust but no more resonating drone in the eardrums.

I would like to give a big Thanks to Dr. PuddyDad for taking care of my baby.

He is definitely the man to go to for any differential needs. Glad to hear everything worked out great!

What brand of lining did you use?

DEI for tunnel
DynoMat for the trunk (hushMat)
DEI header wrap to the muffler

I have been out this morning enjoying hearing the wind breeze. Its been a long time since I heard that.

I have washed after the ride and now half way thru a good polish buffing. Think I might actually take some good pictures somewhere this evening. Might wait for morning sun to shine on wheels.

When I get my clutch/flywheel install done, I'll plan to send puddydad a chunk of cash his way for some awesome differential magic.

Thanks for the kind words good luck with the rear

Your 4.57 diff did need a lot of help, who ever did the original install did pretty much everything wrong.

No, Thank you sir... LOVING the silence.

Only 150 more miles to go before I can drive like a freak.

Got the rear from guy on this site, said it had a little whine.
