Your trying to compare apples and oranges. A stock build with standard install and a out of the box set of gears to a...Cryo treated setup with polished gears also HD install parts used.....there is no comparison.....
I can build you a stock setup with 4.77 gears for $1,200 shipped and after a good core return $800 as a total cost this is a better apples to apples comparison to go by.

I guess I wrote it wrong.. I didnt mean to compare your builds to a stock build with just gears.. just asking if the other stuff was something everyone would recommend is all.. not putting your products down in any way, shape, or form. I have decided to go the route we discussed just wanted some input from others.. I will be contacting you February 12th to send payment (taxes come in February 11th haha)
In the thread you have started here you now have 3 choices….A stock 4.77, 1.5 built 4.77, and a DIY stock 4.77 another poster suggested.
As to the DIY....if you have the tools and experience to do the job it can save you some money.
Look forward to hearing from you in a few weeks

You can't go wrong with an S2KPUDDYDAD built diff. When I was in your situation, looking at diff options, I went with an S2KPUDDYDAD built diff. Ben took the time to talk with me and understand my goals and how I would be using the car. He used that information to make a recommendation on what I needed. His customer service is top notch and he stands by his product.
If you're going to beat on it (drag strip) then spend the money to do it right the first time. If you go cheap and beat on it, it will break and you'll end up spending more money in the long run.
