RX-8 seats in S2000
Yeah......how about NO. $1k a seat is more realistic. RX8's are roughly $32k brand new, Mazda isnt gonna throw $20k seats into a $30k car. Lamborghini, Zonda, Pagani, Ferrari on the other hand would though.
Edit: obviously, they didnt cost $10k a seat to make, but you get the idea if someone were to buy a seat from the stealership.
Found this on a Miata Forum
"Just to follow-up, the R3 Recaros are 19.5" across the widest part of the top back, 20" across the widest part of the bottom back, has a 9" upper seat forward height with the stock rails, is 11" wide across the rearward flat portion of the bottom prior to any bolstering, is 13" wide across the frontward flat portion of the bottom prior to any bolstering and the bottom inner depth is 21". The price for the back w/airbag is $1937.45, the price for the bottom is $343.19, the price for the frame adjuster is $819.31. The plastic covers cost extra. Based on the above rough-in dimensions and that of the Cobra Imola S which is about as snug as it can get based on my friend's car, the R3 Recaro is likely 0.5" too wide, although I have not tried to fit it."
