How many times have you used one hand to pull the prop rod out of it's stock mount and move it to the service mount? it sucks. It's 50/50 you don't pop the rubber holder out and have to go looking for it under the car. I work on my engine A LOT, and this is the first set I've seen that I like. It's worth the money to me not to have to juggle the hood anymore.

Lol... Im gona try and take some video of them opening and closing.. I know there where some member's asking how fast/slow they open and how much force is needed when closing the hood.. Let you know when I get it done and uploaded. Thanks again, loving these hood dampers.

Do they bulge the hood when its closed like my Tein ones? That pisses me off the most.

No hood bulging with the ScienceofSpeed dampers.
On your set, this would either be caused by the damper bottoming out before the hood is even closed (see photo below) or the damper's body is hitting the hood when the hood is closed.
Here's examples of other dampers bottoming out before the hood is closed and striking the hood and fenders when they are closed:

This came along at the perfect time. I needed a set of dampers, and was about to buy a set of Teins until I saw this thread. Thanks for putting out such a well designed product. I just ordered and can't wait to get them!

Man!! I just bought a set of NRG dampers!! They look similar, don't cause any bulging, don't rub on the fender or bottom out prematurely.
Now the bad, they pen with too much force ( I think) causing me to hold the hood all the way up and they cost more than the SOS dampers.
Wish I would have seen these because I installed them this week.
Oh well, I will buy an SOS set as soon as I get tired of these.
Definately want to see a video of how much force they open with.
Looks like a great product!
