Will I benefit from revalving the shocks for 13/9 springs instead of just slapping them on as is?

Yes.

But I wouldn't bother revalving for a 2KG increase. The effect wouldn't be profound.

If you're valving up....go with valving for 14/12

Generally speaking, you can deviate +/- 2KG/mm

Okay I just noticed that the car does actually understeer a bit too much lol you guys ruined me. Its really stable and I love but it could do with a bit more front bite.

The stock Ohlins kit comes with the 11/7 springs thats why I thought about keeping the split. The car never EVER oversteers now, will it start doing it if I drop the split to 2kg? Or will it just lose the excess understeer? When you take corners with the throttle pushed it has monstrous grip on the rear and less on the front, will it start oversteering in situations like this with a smaller spring stagger? I'm asking because the car is just a bit unbalanced now with the staggered tires and I thought just going square would fix it

No, its not an oversteer proof setup and you won't be able to drive it like its FWD.

Even your current setup will EVENTUALLY transition to oversteer if you do the things needed for it to do so.

You for sure will want to lean into it more cautiously and learn what the car is going to do before hammering it. I'm not asking in a jerky way...but is just changing your driving habits out of the question? Otherwise, what's the point of changing the setup at all, if your current one works for you?

Remember... you're driving the car and its doing what you want it to do....

14/12 is my setup. Its an AP2 with an 00 AP1 front bar. 255 square RT660.

I think its brilliant. Very neutral and drivable for me. I can make it oversteer if I want it to.

Isnt a 2kg spring stagger and a stiffer FSB basically the same as a 4kg spring stagger? Just asking no offense intended, you're on a square setup too so exactly what I want to do.

Not quite. The rear bar is still there. And the bars don't have the same motion advantage as the springs do. But its a valid point nonetheless.

My bar setup went from 300/311 to 393/311.

It would be interesting to calculate the total wheel rates to see how it all compares.

Its all trial and error. Try a buncha stuff till you find what you want.

Well I went to 11/9 and the car is absolutely incredible now. All the understeer is gone and its not any more tail happy, on the contrary its even easier to catch! Thanks for the help
