i think i might ziptie the boot a slightly higher up on the collar so it looks a little more... "in proportion". will post results later.

I think you will be happier with the ricks boot and no adapter. When it arrives.

that is the rick's boot =D. i got it in the mail last night. zip tied the shift boot much higher... i think it looks a lot better.

That looks much better. My ricks boot sits against the bottom of my knob thats why i didnt think yours was, but i think you said you didnt want that any how.

there was a quick fix for this by xviper a while ago involving stealing your neighbor's hose ring or some sort of washer lol
