Default Side Strikes Installation?

I understand the installation instructions say you need to drill a hole, but can you go w/o drilling?

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

There are some holes that are on the bottom/side of the car and there's one I believe that's on the side of the car that you have to drill right into the paint. I have seen many people skip that one and only do the 2 that go underneath/side. With two screws holding it on, I doubt it's going anywhere.

That's what I would do if I got them.

This actually works really well. I'd advice 3M two sided tape for the top! It works really well, and if you ever want to take it off, goo gone is your best friend. Much better than having a hole on the side of your car

3M Exterior Weather-Resistant Double-Sided Tape
instead of drilling the holes
