If you're constantly injecting heat, then yeah equilibrium temperature will be reached. Although you could say they are also venting more heat with the increased surface area, but I'm surprised they didn't go full out heatsink style on the extended part with fins and all.

thats what i was implying when i said it doesnt really look like it was especially designed for cooling

This differential gear box has been re-callibrated by the Spoon technicians. The technicians conduct intial gear-contact adjustment which is crucial for LSD assemblies, in additon to cleaning, measurment and service operations.

yeah i saw that, but for some reason i think that this may be another model they dont offer.. maybe only special production for their car or something, because i've never seen it before and the ydont even mention anything about the capacity up besides maybe "cleaning and service operations". or maybe thats what it's for!

looks like a biatch to clean/drain. They should have at least added more cooling fins and some bracing since it just "sticks out there"

well it looks like theyre just using their magnetic transmission/engine oil drain plug there so it wouldnt be dirtier than the inside of a stock diff
