Default Spoon valve cover - need help please

Hi guys. Looking to order a spoon valve cover and just wanted to clarify if I need the ap2 version.

My car is a UK 2008 dbw model.

I know the dbw models use a different valve cover, but in Japan the ap2 is a 2.2l dbw, whilst the UK IS 2.0l dbw.

Will the spoon ap2 cover be compatible?

Thanks
Tim

Do they specify if it's for the F20 or F22 or just AP1/AP2? I bet you'd probably get the AP1 cover due to crank sensors changing for the 06-09 cars I believe - someone correct me

When you order just make sure to specify you need 06+, they do make all three versions (Ap1, ap2 and 06+ ap2), I have a 06+ cover from Spoon.

Does that account for MY08s with F20's?

I would hope Spoon Sports Europe would know which cover it would be.

Did a little searching and it looks like 06+ UK cars have a combo Ap1/06+ valve cover. The PCV valve is changed like the US 06+ cover but it also has the extra sensor.

Oh right, depends where the dealer you're buying the valve cover is from. If it's in Europe, you should be fine to pick up an AP2 cover

Thanks for the replies guys. The rocker cover will be sourced from Japan, so now I'm still a little confused. Initially I had thought I would beed an ap2 version to be suitable with the dbw.
I went on to spoon sports europe site, and they only list two versions, not three. The ap1 or ap2 version.
