so it looks like i need new brakes on all four corners. im thinking brembo rotors but not too sure about the pads. do you guys think i should use pbr or yellow stuff or one i didnt mention? also, any feedback on a big brake kit would be nice or does the s have decent calipers. i dont track it much but i do drive very enthusiastically.
I highly doubt you put the OEM pads/calipers to the test driving spirted, man I barely push them at the track
If you aren't experiencing any brake fade when "driving very enthusiastically" there probably is no reason to change from OEM AP1 pads. If you do go with a more agressive pad you may find the brakes are noisier and will most definitely produce a LOT more dust. (The OEM AP1 pads are among the most dust-free pads I have ever had.)
If you are not experiencing brake fade but simply want 'better braking performance'...i.e. shorter stopping distances...upgrade your tires.

I had that Road and Track that tested all the modified S2000 a couple of years ago..
--- every one of the after market brake kits had neutral or negative effects on stopping distance...
and very few had any affect on brake fade.
BBKs are a cosmetic mod only (which doesn't mean you shouldn't do it.. they do LOOK cool as hell
)
OEM are all you need - but what do you want?
Don't beleive me? check out the treads on the racing forum.
