PRM intake plus Spoon Strut Tower Bar
Hey so i could not find a thread on this, but if there is one could someone direct me to it, that would be great.
Here's the problem, I have a PRM intake installed and just purchased a front spoon strut bar (used) and for some dumb reason, I did not really research it enough to see if it had enough clearance before I bought it. Apparently it does not have enough, I ended up taking it to my friends shop and mechanic and I attempted to make it work but could not find a way. He suggested that i have a welder cut and add any where from half an inch to inch on the sides that connect to the car (not sure what their called) to get the clearance. So basically i was wondering if anyone has done this, if so how much height can be added without it touching the hood, and if anyone else has another suggestion for this problem. Thanks.
