Default Tail lights

Not sure if this is in the right place to ask this question, but my buddy reccently cracked his (AP2) passenger tail light lens (the cover, whatever you call it). Now my friend is selling a complete (AP1) tail lights but we're only interested in the lens.

My question: Will AP1 lens cover fit on AP2 lens cover?

Tail light lenses are very difficult to remove without breaking FYI.

Yes it can be done but requires some TLC and a bit of luck

I have personally put AP1 lenses in my AP2 tail lights (after cracking the lenses trying to open them up).

My serious suggestion: Cut out the lens that you need from the AP1 light so you don't break it. Bake the broken AP2 light to remove the lens, then put the new lens into the AP2 housing.

Thank you for the feedback Rick and Scott!

It's not so hard removing the lens, I don't bake them though. I use a heat gun the hardest part is putting the lens back on IMO.
