I was also curious about how soft the Monoflex coilovers are on their softest setting with EDFC. For a daily driver a softer ride would be nicer especially on freeways with lots of construction going on

Has anyone ran both setups before?
The car is a daily driver, 99% street 1% track =P.

Originally I went to a local shop and they recommended the Tein Flex setup ($1900 installed and aligned which sounds a bit expensive for entry level Teins?). I talked to my EVO buddy who tracks alot and he was pushing the KW V3s.

One concern I have with the V3s is that it'll be overkill for me in terms of needing 3-way adjustability. I have read great things about the ride quality and all.

Any suggestions?
yea, $1900 sounds a bit expensive.
i went with kwv2`s and am happy with it, its a bit cheaper than the v3`s

kwv2 > flex

Sucks. Can people elaborate on why you think Tein is better than KW or why KW is better than Tein!

kwv2 > flex
IMO 1900 is a good price considering that installed and aligned.

figure 100-150 for alignment
and a shop might charge you 4hours of labor @ 80-100/hour for coilover install... maybe 3hours.

However, if you can do the installation yourself don't pay 1900.
