Ok, 3 things.

1: yes it gets cold here, we had snow last week (around 6 inches) that hung around for 5 days. To all of you in the north who say "that's nothing" it is if I were walking/driving the S and when I have never lived any further north.

2: Great suggestion about the other route. I have a Bojangles and Chik-Fil-A near by that I could grad breakfast at.

3: I might get a bike in the summer, but I live in an apt complex and the S is in a garage a little ways down the complex, so no remote start or walking out and cranking it up then walking back.

I agree on the letting the car idle after to warm it up doesn't do much, I can tell because even if I crank my car and go back inside for a while the shift knob is still cold and I know the tranny isn't warm.

I think I will start taking a longer route to work, just gotta get up earlier.

remote start just get a brand that will work from a far enough distance
