Default Upgraded head unit and DAB antenna

I’m wondering if I could get some advice and recommendations. I have recently just bought my first S2000 and I am loving it so far!

I want to try and keep the car fairly standard however the radio dose need upgrading. Does anyone have any views and recommendations on which head units to upgrade to? And which adapters will allow the dash mounted controls to work with it?
Streaming music via Bluetooth is essential and Ideally I’d like it to have DAB but I understand that the existing aerial/antenna will not work with DAB. I have seen lots of windscreen mounted aftermarket aerials but these don’t appeal to me. Is there a solution on the market to modify or change the cars existing aerial to allow it to work with a DAB head unit?

Thanks in in advance for any help

Single din media receiver, no cd player. Install a mini class D amp in the space behind the head unit. Aftermarket speakers.

If you buy HU from Crutchfield, they'll sell you an audio control unit for nearly free. You can use the dash controls to control HU. Or spend a few bucks and get the excellent dash control unit from Modifry.

I have the modifry plug and play harness and their DCI paired with a pioneer media unit. Its not free but it makes install a plug and play affair and you can use the dash controls. I think modify has a plug and play setup for a few different brands of head unit.

I have Alpine UTE 62BT head unit and Alpine KTP445U small underdash amp bridged and OEM speakers and I am quite happy with it. The sound in an S will never be like the sound in a luxury car.

I have a pretty basic JVC headunit with bluetooth addition that I mounted/3M taped over the OEM radio controls to the left of the steering wheel that has worked amazingly for me for years. I did get a great deal on the OEM headrest speaker option and I cant honestly imagine my car without it. If you see it for sale, definitely cop them. They help greatly with being able to hear the radio with the top down, which is the only time i use my car. That, or look into rear speaker addition that has been done many times and is documented somewhere. Makes a great difference.
