Velocity Stack
A velocity stack can go where ever air is being sucked into a pipe. So at the end of an intake, at the end of the runners in an intake manifold or at the end of ITB's.
Im not entirely sure how effective they are but from a quick research, it seems like a pretty good idea to have... At first geuss i feel like it would make sense to put it right infront of the Intake Manifold like you have it set up. Im surprised no one has just made a cheap version of it if its so simple. 50+ is kinda step for something so simple...

On my S/C V6 it works to free up some hp and on a N/A engine it works even better. You won't find a engine on a dyno without one, velocity stacks have been around for over 60 years because they work N/A, S/C or T/C. One thing I don't like is the sound, its hard to hide it especially if your F/I. I like to try to keep it stealthy.
